What do we need for wild camping Europe and planning a driving holiday in Europe
The possibilities are endless. So many wonderful destinations to choose from and all offering totally different experiences. We LOVE visiting Europe and all it has to offer.
There are some obvious things that you need to consider first. Do you intend to buy a campervan or motorhome like we did. Maybe drive your car and tent it, book AirBNB accommodation, or stay in hotels (this would be crazy expensive for longer trips).

You don’t normally travel with as many clothes while full time on the road or holiday.
So, keeping on top of washing while on the road is important.

What gear do I take, that will actually get used
There are so many gadgets and thingmy bobs that you can buy and a lot of which you will never use.
We have been travelling for over 20 years, trust me, there is LOTS of things we bought that we probably didn’t need to or didn’t use too. Here is a list of the items we bought AND actually used.
It will be a rare occasion that you will not be able to find something on the road if you need it. Provided you have the important items for travel, safety and hygiene, the rest you grab along the way.
Data & Sim Cards Travel in Europe
We arrived into the UK and took an additional phone with us (separate to our usual mobiles) for a
sim card to be inserted for our Roadtrip of Europe.
